You do often have a lot of options to choose from when backing up your photo library. You don’t want to lose all the stuff you got there in case your phone’s own storage gets corrupted. Amazon Prime wants to lock its prime subscribers in by offering what they have always wanted from a cloud-based storage- the ability to store unlimited photos. And it’s about time you’ve got to try this to save your life’s precious memories.

Unlimited Cloud Storage for Photos Only

Amazon Prime Photos now offers unlimited photo storage to its Amazon Prime subscribers. The company calls it a membership perk which is described as a simple, secure place to store your entire photo library on the cloud.

As with its current subscribers who have already uploaded their images into the service, Amazon Prime Photos assures those images are no longer counted against their cloud storage limit. The announcement only contains the good news on unlimited photo storage and has not mentioned any update for other files in the Amazon Cloud Drive like videos captured with your devices.

View Photos from any Device

Your shots in the cloud drive can be viewed in their original resolutions from any device, including Android, iOS, and Fire devices, as well as Mac and Windows. The photos can also be viewed on the big screens such as game consoles like the Playstation 3 & 4, Amazon Fire TV, and other models of smart TVs.

Amazon Prime Photos supports every file type, even the uncompressed RAW and video files. Just make sure that each file doesn’t exceed the 2GB mark.

Amazon Prime Photo, the Best Cloud Storage

There are many cloud storage services out there like Dropbox and Google Drive, and while they offer limited storage for free they still have much to prove to kill Amazon’s latest offering. You’ll never want to pay for other online storage services ever again if you want extra space. With just a subscription to Amazon Prime, you get a good deal out of your money.
